About the course:

ROAR Early Years is for any professionals who work in an early years setting, such as nurseries, children’s centres, childminders, baby and toddler groups, etc.

The training is a 2-day programme held at Merseyside Youth Association:

Day 1 – Wednesday 13th November

Provides training on:

• Introduction to Early Years Mental Health
• Attachment
• Social and emotional development
• Developmental trauma
• Parental mental health
• Whole setting approach to mental health.

Day 2 – Wednesday 20th November

Covers practical aspects allowing delegates to explore arts, crafts and design as a fundamental vehicle to support child readiness, infant and child mental health and well-being, along with a tool to express mental distress and develop positive coping strategies to underpin the delivery of all areas of the EYFS curriculum.

*Please Note: You must attend both training dates to be ROAR certified*

*At this time, ROAR Early Years training is only available for those working with children and young people within the Liverpool City Region*
